1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Blue Wings Aviation service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Flight Operations and Liability

All flight operations are conducted under FAR Part 91 regulations. As Pilot in Command (PIC), you assume total responsibility for the operation of the aircraft. Blue Wings Aviation reserves the right to deny rental privileges to any individual who fails to meet safety, operational, or financial requirements at our sole discretion.

3. Discovery Flight Disclosures

Discovery Flights are provided as introductory flight lessons, not sightseeing tours. All flights are conducted in an FAA-certified Piper PA-28-180 and count toward the hours required for a Private Pilot License (FAA Part 61).

4. Physical & Security Requirements

For safety and aircraft performance:

• Participants must present a valid government-issued photo ID (TSA requirement).
• Maximum weight per passenger: 240 lbs.
• Minimum age: 14 for introductory lessons (minors must be accompanied by a guardian for ground briefing).

5. Gift Certificate Policy

Gift certificates are valid for 180 days from the date of purchase. Certificates are non-refundable but are fully transferable to another individual. Flights are subject to weather conditions and instructor availability; 24-hour notice is required for cancellations to avoid a $50 rescheduling fee.

6. Transparent Pricing

The advertised price for a Discovery Flight includes the aircraft rental, fuel, and flight instruction. There are no hidden fuel surcharges or membership fees required for the introductory lesson.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Carolina and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
